Bee Health -Propolis Cream (30ml)Propolis Cream Propolis cream has been used as a natural treatment for eczema, psoriasis and other skin problems. Propolis has also been shown to have natural antibiotic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties. A natural solution to help protect small scratches, bites and minor skin abrasions from infection and may ease inflammation and assist in healing. Recent research has shown that the bioflavonoids in Propolis are even capable of destroying some bacteria that have now become resistant to modern synthetic antibiotics. Not surprising really when you consider that the bees use Propolis as their external immune system to protect the hive. They coat the inside surface of the hive with Propolis, polishing it to create one of the most sterile environments known to nature. Helping to keep thousands of bees in such close contact safe from infection both within the hive or brought in from the outside. Truly a gift from nature. Propolis is collected by the honey bee from trees and plants. The largest ingredient of Propolis (just over half) is resin collected from trees and plants. The other half is made up of wax (30%), Essential Oils (10%), and pollen (5%). The magic of pollen however is found in the wide variety of additional elements included in this natural treatment. They include amino acids, vitamins, minerals and most importantly bioflavonoids which are now widely believed to have great benefit to us and may even help in the healing process and may boost or improve our immune system. Over the last 20 years much scientific and medical research has been undertaken into Propolis, both in this country and in America as well as in Eastern Europe where the medical use of Propolis is more common. This research has shown Propolis to be effective in helping treat amongst other things Blood Disorders, Gastro Intestinal Problems, Immune system problems as well as various skin problems. Propolis cream may be a natural and effective way to deal with some dermatological or other inflammatory conditions. Whilst there is a lot of interesting research already done and ongoing into the benefits of Propolis it is important to stress that it is a natural remedy and as such we are unable to make specific medical claims in relation to its properties and uses. Natural remedies do not help everyone and we would always recommend discussing any treatments with a qualified medical practitioner if you have any queries or doubts about the suitability of natural remedies for your condition. Propolis is also not suitable for people with allergies to tree resin or bee products. We would always recommend applying Propolis cream to a small area such as wrist or inside of elbow for 24 hours to test for allergic reactions before applying more generally to other affected areas. Propolis is a natural and gentle substance with usually no side effects but testing for allergic reactions is a simple easy way of ensuring you get the best out of this wonderful product. Propolis is not recommended for pregnant or nursing women because there is not enough information in this area relating to the use of propolis during these conditions Direction: Apply liberally and massage into skin, not to be taken internally.
